Mas Sivelou is situated on the edge of the Cevennen mountains and therefor an eldorado for hikers. At one side there are the mountains where you can make some nice climbs. At the other side a flatter landscape where you walk along vineyards, olivetrees and small pictureskque villages. The only thing you'll see is a farmer or a hunter and if you're lucky you might see a boar.
Imagine : coming home after a long walk, enjoy a nice glass of wine at your private terrace, while you look at the most beautiful colours of the sunset. Ending the day with a delicious 'Table d'hôtes' diner under a starry sky…..

Do you prefer to set your own schedule, than this is what you're looking for. With a detailled map and a choice of hiking descriptions, you decide when and where to go to. There are hikes for every level. On the way you can enjoy a homemade picknick lunch. Twice during these weeks, you can join our 'Table d'hôtes' dinners.

HIKINGWEEK FROM SEPT. 27 - OCT 4, 2008
This week is for the hiker with average experience. During this week you'll start your hikes after breakfast with the other participants and an English speaking guide. The guided walks are five times a week for about 4 tot 6 hours a day. On the way you'll stop to eat your homemade lunch we've prepared for you. Or even better; it will already be ready waiting for you somewhere in the middle of the nature….
In te evening we serve a 3-course 'Table d'hôtes' dinner at one long family table.
Wednesday will be your day off and you can visit one of the local markets, a roman city like Nîmes or Montpellier of just relax at the pool or at your own private terrace and read a good book.
